The problem
Revisions that never end.
Round two becomes round five, one message at a time.
No paper trail.
Requests are spread across email, chat and calls, so there is nothing to point to when the bill is questioned.
Saying no feels personal.
With no team to hide behind, every “that's extra” is your own awkward conversation.
Example
A $2,400 website with two rounds of revisions included. A third round arrives anyway, with six new requests. Scopepin shows “Round 3 of 2” and flags five of the six as outside the scope. You estimate 5 hours at $75 an hour and send a $375 change request. The request does the asking for you.
What you get
One place for every request.
Each comment sits on the page it's about, with the date and who asked.
A record you can point to.
Rounds are counted and out-of-scope requests are flagged.
An easier way to charge.
A priced change request your client approves by email.
The Free plan covers one active project, which suits one build at a time. Starter is $19 a month for up to 3 projects, with scope flags and change requests.
How freelancers use it
- 1Paste your scope into the project, with the revision rounds and your rate.
- 2Add the line to the client's staging site and send them the link.
- 3Fix what's in scope, and answer questions by email from the item.
- 4Send one change request for the extras, and share the progress page so the client sees what's done.
Questions
I only run one project at a time. Is Free enough?
Yes. Free covers one active project with unlimited clients and reviewers. Archive it when you finish and start the next.
Can my client check on progress without emailing me?
Yes. Share the project's progress link and they can see every request and whether it's received, in progress or done, any time, with no login.
Is it worth paying for if I'm on my own?
Starter is built for that: up to 3 active projects, scope flags and priced change requests, for $19 a month. That's about three hours of billed extra work a year at $75 an hour.
Can my client record what's wrong?
Yes. On a computer they can record their screen with a voice-over for up to a minute, and every comment comes with a replay of what they did first.
What happens to feedback after the project ends?
Archive the project. Its site stops accepting feedback and it stops counting toward your plan, but everything stays readable.
Does it work with my site builder?
Yes, with any site where you can add a script tag: WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, HubSpot, Ghost and hand-built sites.
